Hello!

Ed Roberts is a traditional 2D animation artist with over 20 years' experience. He graduated with a BA Hons in Animation (1st) from Newport Film School.

Projects have included Warner Bros. Coyote vs. ACME, John Lewis Christmas Advert 2020 Give a Little Love¹, Netflix’s Stranger Things, Look Both Ways and That ‘90s Show, Iron Maiden’s The Writing on the Wall, and commercials for Coca-Cola, Amazon, McDonald’s, Motorola, Adidas, IKEA, Spotify, Cookie Crisp, Raid and Heinz.

Ed has worked as a VFX SketchVis Animator, helping create the films Venom (Colombia Pictures), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (Paramount Pictures), Dolittle (Universal Pictures), A Boy Called Christmas (StudioCanal) and the critically acclaimed show The Crown (Netflix).

His award winning student film apple monkey² was screened in 28 international film festivals, and the Moonwalk/Thriller flipbook he designed and animated sold over 60,000 copies within the first 8 months of publication.

Versatile and creative, Ed combines strong draughtmanship with high attention to detail and is always on the look out for exciting projects and new collaborations.
